Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) has a mission to end Veteran Homelessness in the whole state of Minnesota. They also try to help Veterans find employment.
I, Publius Jr, was helped by MACV to get on a homeless program for Veterans called HUD VASH. It is essentially Section 8 for Vets. So many Veterans qualify for this program and yet most people have no idea it exists. Even elected leaders are ignorant of the program. It started in January 2017 and has continued on since then. I’ll write an article about this separately. So I have soft spot for MACV and I’ll promote them whenever I can.
