The Second Amendment is under daily attack by Globalist Socialists who see it as a road block to their future oppression of the people of the Earth. They believe guns are the reason why violent crime exists, so they seek to remove guns from the planet, with exceptions to the elite and government leaders. They seem also to be proponents for marijuana legalization too and they’ve suppressed stories on what a nightmare that is turning out to be.
Police are Always “Just Minutes Away”
Let’s face it if you are attacked the Police will always be “Just Minutes away,” or in some parts of St Paul & Minneapolis, hours away. Not everyone is into firearms as they are scared of handguns. I, Publius Jr, was scared of handguns until I went and got trained in 2020. Where ever you are on your personal defense journey you might not be ready for a firearm, but you should carry Everyday Carry (EDC) personal defense items.
Some places in your city are just not legal to carry firearms into, not the unconstitutional gun free zones but rather Federal, State, and Local Government buildings. While many State & Local Government Buildings do not have metal detectors, Federal Buildings do, and Sheriff & Police Stations do as well. If you have to go to a VA Hospital, US Post Office, or any other Federal building you might want to carry a less lethal device that are perfectly legal (See your state laws about what of these less lethal device are legal).
The Lucky Gunner YouTube Channel has many educational, and product review videos on firearms, ammunition, and EDC items. The video above does mention certain brands of Pepper Spray. It is up to you to do your homework on what you think is best for you.
The testing of different brands and types of dispensers of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) is something to take note. The difference between Pepper Spray & Pepper Stream is important.
Chris Baker mentions a trainer named Chuck Haggard who trains people on how to use EDC items like Pepper Spray. You can check out his website here, and you can also click on those in the description of the above video by Lucky Gunner. Firearms can be used in only a finite situation. In Minnesota you have a duty to retreat until the Legislature says otherwise. So carrying something for those other times when lethal force to stop an attacker is not authorized is something to think about and carry, just in case.
Please check your local laws for laws on less than lethal devices.
